Looking For Work?

As most of you know I lost my Corporate IT job back in 2005.  I did not know that my employment was not a forever gig.When my boss got a new boss the tide turned, he went first and I was second.  I love my job, I traveled a few times a month, I worked out of my home, I punched no time clock.  Life was good.  Once I lost my job I did not know where to look.  I started my search online knowing that there is a vast amount of opportunities available for working at home.  There is no way I would return to a structured position that I left in 1999.  I did find my calling and I am happy to report 2010 will be a great year!

Michael Kors

My daughter is all about what gifts she is getting this year for Christmas, she is in need of some really good leather gloves.  Being away at college I do worry.  I saw a sale on Michael Kors leather gloves.We want to go with a really good quality for her since she parks her car like a mile away from her dorm and has to take a bus to get there. 

Once she gets dropped off she has to stand outside and get the snow off while hopefully warming the car up for her ride to school.  Winter in Minnesota can be quite brutal.  I still dream of living in a warmer climate.  Not to hot but one that I could have a garden all year round.  West Coast?

New Orleans Travels

The Holidays are so special!!  I love being around family and friends, we are already talking about Spring Break, yikes.  We are looking at new orleans hotel reservations We are thinking it is time to go out and check out this great city after the devastation of the hurricane. I am in awe of how the city has cleaned up and is inviting people back.

What greater way to give back then vacation there, helping them build up their dollar in this city.  I was thinking of staying in the French Quarter.  A beautiful sort of bed and breakfast would be lovely!  I did find a great deal on Bourbon Street with 40% off.  Time is ticking, better do some more researching.

The holiday season brings us a ton of food, lots of eating and not to mention alcohol. Are you looking at a fat burner to help fight un wanted pounds? There are a ton of fat burners out there, do your research, no your body type and do not over dose on the darn things.

Floor tiles

I am truly excited, my husband just brought some new floor tiles home. They are really pretty ceramic tiles but, I am not sure how these will work in my kitchen though. Do any of you readers have this type of tile in the kitchen? If I drop a pickle jar on the floor are these going to crack, thus having to replace a tile.?

Another option would be to use as a backsplash in the kitchen. They may be a bit large but the tile is beautiful. I would love to hear your thoughts!
